Sam Yentin

(MSc. Physiotherapy, BSc. Athletic Therapy, CSCS)

Sam is a Certified Athletic Therapist, Registered Massage Therapist, and Physiotherapist. He brings a wealth of expertise and a passion for helping clients achieve their goals to SPARC. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Therapy from Concordia University in Montreal and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. In addition, Sam has earned a diploma in Massage Therapy, making him highly versatile in his practice.

His professional journey includes valuable experience at various private clinics in Toronto, as well as significant roles at the University of Toronto, where he worked primarily with the womens field hockey team and the men and womens swim teams. His background also includes working with a variety ofsports including basketball, football, ice hockey, and rugby, giving him a comprehensive understanding of sports-related injuries and rehabilitation.

Sams treatment philosophy is centered on combining exercise-based rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, manual therapy, and education. He is dedicated to empowering his clients to take control of their health by giving them the tools they need to recover from injuries. He strongly believes in patient-centered care, shared decision-making, and helping clients create meaningful goals. His approach is aimed at helping his clients not only recover but also surpass their pre-injury baselines.

Committed to continuous learning, Sam has completed numerous courses in reconditioning, strength and conditioning, movement assessment, and manual therapy. His broad skill set and dedication to his profession help him provide high quality care to his clients.

Outside of work, Sam enjoys cycling, weightlifting, and the challenge of motivating his lazy one-eyed pug-shih tzu to go on walks. Fun fact: Sam has an identical twin brother who is a circus performer, which helped inspire his career in physiotherapy.
