Gillian o Reilly
musculoskeletal & sports PHYSIOTHERAPIST
(Msc in Physiotherapy, Bsc in Health & Performance Science), CORU & MISCP- Chartered Physiotherapist)
Gillian graduated from UCD in 2020 with an MSc in Physiotherapy, building on her earlier BSc in Health and Performance Science — a background that means she sees you not just as an injury to fix, but as a whole person who wants to move, train, and feel better.
After a year working in Dublin, she moved to New Zealand, where she spent four years in private practice alongside roles with club and provincial rugby teams. That blend of everyday clinic work and high-level sport sharpened her ability to treat the full spectrum — from the weekend warrior with a niggling knee to the athlete chasing a return to play.
During her time in New Zealand, Gillian developed a real passion for exercise-based rehabilitation. With access to excellent gym facilities and an active, motivated patient population, she saw first-hand how powerful structured loading and progressive rehab can be — and that approach is now central to how she works. She's also expanded her clinical toolkit with imaging referrals, dry needling, and a Level 1 Strength & Conditioning qualification, giving you a clinician who can diagnose, treat, and progress you all the way back to full strength.
Gillian has recently returned to Ireland to be closer to family and is joining the clinic part-time, alongside her role as a physiotherapist with Leinster Rugby — so the latest in elite rehab thinking is always in the room with her.
While her roots are firmly in rugby, Gillian genuinely enjoys working with people from every walk of life — runners, gym-goers, office workers with stubborn back and neck pain, and anyone in between. Whatever your level, her focus is the same: getting you back to the activities you love, moving with confidence, and feeling strong in your body again.
