ACL Club
The ACL Club is a specialized rehabilitation group at SPARC, designed for athletes recovering from ACL injuries. This program combines expert physiotherapy and advanced technology to optimize recovery and ensure a safe return to sport.
ACL RTP 1 & 2: These stages focus on returning athletes to field training and sport.
ACL RTP 1: Focuses on rebuilding strength, stability, and foundational skills.
ACL RTP 2: Involves more advanced movements, including multidirectional running and sport-specific drills, preparing athletes for full return to play.
Running & Multidirectional Running: Athletes in both RTP stages train for running and multidirectional movement patterns, essential for preparing them for the demands of their sport.
Isokinetic Training: Isokinetic training is incorporated weekly from the beginning of the program, emphasizing strength development in a controlled, measurable way, key for injury prevention and recovery.
ACL Insight 360
This comprehensive testing battery includes:
Isokinetic Strength Testing: Measures strength imbalances and weaknesses, which is critical for ACL rehab.
Power and Reactive Strength Assessments: These tests, performed using Output technology, assess explosive strength and reaction time, which are vital for sport performance post-recovery.
Biomechanical Assessment: Detailed assessments help track physical mechanics during rehab and ensure optimal movement patterns.

This personalized tracking system allows for ongoing monitoring of the athlete’s progress throughout the rehab journey. Data collected from the ACL Insight 360 testing is used to refine rehab strategies and ensure athletes are progressing safely and effectively.
For athletes looking for additional support, THE ACL REHAB CLUB is a small group strength training class designed for those recovering from injury, including ACL injuries. It offers a supportive community and is led by expert physiotherapists. The program emphasizes building strength and confidence in a gym setting. Included in every session is isokinetic dynamomotry training.
